HOW VAPELION MAKES MONEY

Vapelion is an independent comparison and decision engine. It carries no affiliate links: when you click through to a retailer, you go to the retailer's ordinary product page, and Vapelion earns nothing from anything you buy.

Why no affiliate links?

In the UK, paid promotion of nicotine vaping products in third-party online media is prohibited under the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016 and CAP Code rule 22.12, and the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 bans all vape advertising and sponsorship from 1 June 2027. Affiliate commissions are what turn editorial links into paid promotion — so we removed them entirely in August 2026. Our product content is editorial, factual, and unpaid.

So how is the site funded?

Through services that do not involve promoting nicotine products: market-insight reports and data licensing for businesses, commissioned consumer research, software licensing, compliance resources, recruitment listings, and sponsorship strictly limited to non-nicotine businesses that serve the industry (such as insurers or software providers). Every sponsored placement is clearly labelled. Details are on our For Business page.

Does any of this affect rankings?

No.Rankings and "Best For" scores come from a rules-based scoring model and editorial testing — Total Cost of Ownership, build quality, and ease of use. No retailer, manufacturer, or sponsor can pay to appear, rank higher, or be scored differently, at any price.
